The new facility is part of an ongoing revamp that includes a nine-hole par-three pitch and putt course scheduled to open in 2021 and a driving range that's approximately 270m in length which allows golfers to practice hitting driver.
The range, which is not fully complete, is now open with limited availability to club members only.
"We're stoked to finally have the range open and to see our members using it," Neangar Park Golf Club manager Joe Sinnott said.
"Both the range and the pitch and putt have been a long-time coming over the past five years and we're thrilled to be able to deliver part of the finished product.
"Members will not only be able practice but also develop their game and improve as players.
"It's going to be even better once the pitch and putt also opens."
The range is currently open to members only, but in the future once complete public green fee players will also be able to use the facilities.
At this stage there is still more fencing to be installed, a ball shed that needs to be built and a few other elements before the range will be complete.
