With the holiday season upon us, there are more Christmas themed events that you can mark in your diary.

MARKETS
CHRISTMAS MARKET
Along with the Collectables and Old Wares Market at the Showgrounds this weekend, the Christmas Market will also be featuring some great items.
Stalls will be both indoor and outdoor, trading over both days.
There will be lots of handmade items, Christmas themed items, and gifts for everyone to enjoy.

When: Saturday and Sunday, December 12 and 13, 8.30am to 2pm.
TWILIGHT MARKET
Join in with the Castlemaine community and get the rest of your Christmas shopping sorted at the Castlemaine Christmas Twilight Market.
This market will feature art from locals, paintings, sculptures and much more.
Where: Western Reserve, Castlemaine.
When: Friday, December 18, 3pm to 7pm.
CRAFT MARKET
The Girgarre Produce and Craft Market will be on this weekend, with gift ideas and fresh produce to get you through the busy Christmas period.
This market event will also have a visit from Santa, for the lucky children in attendance.
There will be a barbeque, fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, olive oils, jams, succulents, garden art and much more.
Where: Progress Park, Girgarre.
When: Sunday, December 13, 9am to noon.
CHRISTMAS TREES
The Y Service Club of Bendigo is once again selling fresh Christmas trees.
These trees come in different sizes and start from $40. Stands are also available.
All proceeds are donated to local charities and organisations.

When: Until Saturday December 20 (or until sold out), weekdays noon to 6pm, weekends 9am to 4pm.
OTHER FESTIVE EVENTS
CHRISTMAS TOGETHER
The Bendigo Baptist Church invites all to join in for a special Christmas online carols service.
There will be a COVID-19 safe barbeque where everyone can come together to watch a livestream.
There will be large screens set up at both the Junortoun and Eaglehawk campuses, with carols, children's competitions and lots of community interaction.

A MAGIC NIGHT
Enjoy A Magic Night in Maryborough, in partnership with the Dine Out Goldfields event.
This event will feature many artworks for sale, a curator's tour of the Community Arts Exhibition with Helen Kaptein, free art making activities for children and much more.
