A MAN airlifted to hospital after being found unconscious in a backyard swimming pool has died.
The man sustained life-threatening injuries in the Saturday morning incident in Rochester.
He died on Sunday night.
Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

A man has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after a reported drowning at Rochester on Saturday morning.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed paramedics were called shortly after 9am to reports of a drowning.
Paramedics assessed a man believed to be in his 50s at the scene, before airlifting him to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
He was in a critical condition.
