Event CEO Margot Falconer said planning is now "full steam ahead" for a COVID-safe show at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds.
"We know that our event is a huge boost to accommodation, food and retail providers in our great city and we will have a COVID-safe event plan in place to ensure the safety of all."

It comes after the City of Greater Bendigo confirmed on Friday that planning for the Bendigo Easter Festival is now underway.
However, the council is unsure exactly what form the event will take given ongoing uncertainties around long-term social distancing restrictions.
It has cancelled any plans for New Year's Eve fireworks out of concerns it may encourage cirus-spreading crowds to gather.
Ms Falconer said Sheep and Wool Show organisers were keen to hear from anyone who hoped to participate in the July event.
