No matter what Angus Chisholm and James Toomey do for the remainder of their cricket careers, they'll always be able to say they made the first run and claimed the first wicket in BDCA history at Marist College.

The school oval became the latest venue to host a Bendigo District Cricket Association match when Maiden Gully's under-18 team played its first home game of the season against Eaglehawk.
The Borough won the toss and batted on Saturday and, iroically, it was former Maiden Gully junior Chisholm who scored the first runs on the new ground with a three off the third ball of the match.
It took until the 16th over of Eaglehawk's innings for Toomey's spinners to claim the first wicket when he found the edge of Dylan McGregor's bat and keeper Tristian Rowe completed the catch.
Chisholm (50 not out) batted through the Eaglehawk innings as the visitors posted 5-115 off 25 overs. Toomey (3-24) was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Maiden Gully fell eight runs short, thanks largely to Eaglehawk's wayward bowling.
In Maiden Gully's total of 7-107 the top score was 54 extras - 39 of the 54 runs coming from wides. Chisholm (3-11) rounded out a great all-round game for the Hawks.
Playing in its rookie season in the BDCA under-18 competition, Maiden Gully has taken Huntly-North Epsom's place in the fixture.
