Targeted at girls in grades 5 and 6 at primary school, the five-week program will begin on Wednesday, November 18.
There is no sign up cost for the competition and it will be played with plastic balls under Master Blaster rules.
"We've had some great interest already and we would love a few more teams - if you are interested or have a group of friends interested we will connect you with a club close to you,'' BDCA junior co-ordinator Nathan Fitzpatrick said.
The introduction of women's cricket and an under-16 girls competition has been a success for the BDCA and the league is keen to build a pathway for girls from under-12s through to open age.
