The names of Latenighttoughguy, who was quickly sold to Hong Kong interests following his mightily impressive first-up win at Swan Hill in March, Rogue Star and Big Boy's Girl readily spring to mind.
Hann hopes to continue the trend on Bendigo Cup day when he unveils the highly-touted three-year-old filly Gloves Are Off in the 1100m maiden (race two).
The daughter of Toronado and Kid Gloves will jump from the outside barrier, but will have the services of in-form 2019 Bendigo Cup-winning jockey William Pike as she attempts to add to Hann's list of debutante winners.
"He trialled her a few weeks ago and he really wanted to stick with her," the trainer said.
"I'm very happy with the horse, she's done everything right, so she will be a good each-way chance.
"She's definitely got the ability to figure in the finish. She's got a wide draw, but I think she will be right there at the finish."
Three of the filly's rivals are also trained in Bendigo, with Steven Lake saddling up Memphis Belle, Graham Donaldson targeting the race with Travelling Soldier, and Brad Cole pinning his hopes on Rose'n'harlem.
Gloves Are Off ($8.50 in early betting) will be one of two runners on Wednesday for Hann, who has stable newcomer Filip's Star lining up in a benchmark 64 over 1100m.
The five-year-old gelding was formerly trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy and has not raced since finishing third in a strong benchmark 78 at Werribee in May, a gap of 25 weeks.
Filip's Star has won three of 12 career starts and has continued to impress his new trainer with his progress since arriving at Bendigo.
"We bought him as a tried horse and he's doing everything right," he said.
"It looks a good race for him - hopefully he will settle just off the speed and I think he will be a good each-way chance as well."
Filip's Star will be ridden by apprentice Matthew Cartwright.
Looking ahead to later in the week, Hann said Henry's Reward, who is another recent stable acquisition, was a possibility to run at Kilmore on Friday.
The gelding, who was previously trained at Warrnambool by Shayne Fisher, finished third, beaten by less than a length, at Kilmore last week in his first run for the Hann stable.
