With the vast majority of community cricket leagues across Australia playing a full season of one-day matches, there were some concerns around Kookaburra's ability to supply enough white cricket balls after some of its production was shut down because of COVID-19.
The BDCA examined the prospect of playing half a season with white balls and half a season with red balls, but that query has since been put to bed.
The BDCA's first round on October 31 will be played with white balls and teams will wear coloured uniforms.
"Kookaburra is okay to supply white balls for the whole season,'' BDCA president Travis Harling said.
"We want to get the season started and after two or three games we'll check in with all the clubs and see how everything is going (before we make a final decision)."

Meanwhile, the BDCA under-18 fixture has been completed.
Huntly-North Epsom is the only traditional BDCA club without an under-18 team.
The Power's place in the fixture has been filled by Maiden Gully, so there won't be a bye.
Maiden Gully's first home game on its new turf wicket at Marist College will be against Eaglehawk on November 7.
Under-18 matches are scheduled to start at 8.15am each Saturday morning.
Under-18 round one draw for Saturday, October 31 (home team listed first):
Strathdale-Maristians v Maiden Gully
Strathfieldsaye v Bendigo
Bendigo United v White Hills
Kangaroo Flat v Sandhurst
Eaglehawk v Golden Square
