The seven steps include small activities or tasks such as creating connection, eating well, sleeping well and staying active.
headspace Bendigo community engagement worker Haylee Kennedy said a grand virtual event was used to promote the day.
Participants entered a draw to win one of seven prizes relating to the seven steps, including a headspace care pack and $100 voucher.
"We wanted to make sure everyone thought about the seven tips to a healthy headspace," Ms Kennedy said.
"Our message was that healthy practices don't have to be big or challenging to make a difference."
