A 'live tulip cam' launched as part of this year's spring tourism campaign for Bendigo, enabling those unable to travel to the city to enjoy the sights from home.
The camera broadcasts to the Bendigo tourism webpage from the conservatory gardens, which are awash with the colours of thousands of tulips.
More than 50,000 bulbs were planted in the city centre to create the displays.
Display sites include the Queen's Gardens, Canterbury Park, Bendigo's Botanic Gardens and the Civic Gardens.
The 'live tulip cam' captures a section of the conservatory gardens.
City of Greater Bendigo tourism and major events manager Terry Karamaloudis said the live steam was protected by encryption and was not shared with any third parties.
"When taking photos or videos in public areas, the city is required to take reasonable steps to ensure anyone who is clearly identifiable has consented to their image being taken," Mr Karamaloudis said.
"Signs at the entrance inform people in advance that there will be video at this location and it is appropriate to give people the option not to enter the area."
