BIRCHIP-Watchem is back on the hunt for a senior coach ahead of the 2021 North Central league season.
The Bulls announced in August they had appointed Marcus Demaria as their new senior coach, taking over from star ruckman Lochlan Sirett.
However, Demaria - who previously coached Woorinen to back-to-back flags in 2018-19 in the Central Murray league - has now stepped down from the role.
"I'd like to apologise to the Birchip-Watchem faithful for my indecision. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I will be unable to coach the club in 2021," Demaria said on the club's Facebook page.
"I wish the club all the greatest success for the future."
Birchip-Watchem has lost the past three North Central league grand finals to Sea Lake Nandaly (2019) and Wycheproof-Narraport (2018, 2017) as it continues to hunt its first flag since 2001.
There was no North Central league season played this year because of COVID-19.
