The team struck early in the night with the filly More Than A Woman, before making it a double in the final event on the program with the well-backed gelding Playboy Shadow.
A pair of victories gave Ashwood his second driving double in six days following success at Horsham last Thursday aboard stable runner Beau Garcon and the Ken Whelan-trained long-shot Aristocrat Chester ($46.70).
The Hargreaves-Ashwood stable has rocketed to eight wins for the month, contributing to a tally of 66 for the season.
Ashwood said it was a great evening for loyal stable supporter and owner Garry Collinson, after both three-year-olds notched their Vicbred bonus.
"More Than A Woman has only been in the stable for about three weeks or so and was quite gutsy, three-wide from the 1000m," he said.
"She was quite strong to the line. She's definitely got a few wins left in her.
"Playboy Shadow is pretty much in the same boat having only been in the stable for about three weeks."
"His first run up at Shepparton indicated he was going to get better if he was in the front end, which he was.
"He was quite strong as well."
Those wins followed that of the exciting and at times unpredictable Tasmanian Trotting Club syndicate-owned Beau Garcon at Horsham.
"He's a bit hot and cold," said Ashwood of the four-year-old trotting gelding, who has won seven of 25 starts, with the addition of one further placing.
"We then had Constantina win at Shepparton that night with Josh Duggan driving. She goes quite well for Josh."
Constantina, a three-year-old filly by Pet Rock, is the only dual winner for Hargreaves and Ashwood during September, having picked up a victory on the first day of the month at Shepparton.
The stable produced five winners in August.
