Bendigo Cricket Club's Cailin Green and Kangaroo Flat's Jasmine Nevins were picked in a Victorian Country squad of 21 players.
Nevins is no stranger to elite pathway cricket.
Last summer the all-rounder represented Victoria Country at the national under-18 championships where she scored 117 runs and took seven wickets.
She also played for the Lanning XI against the Perry XI in exhibition matches for the best young female cricketers in Australia.
Nevins has spent the pasr four seasons playing women's Premier Cricket with Plenty Valley.
Green made a big impressions with Carlton-/Brunwisck in her first season in Premier Cricket last summer.
After starting the season in the second XI, Green forced her way into the first XI side where she played eight games and had a highest score of 32 and best bowling performance of 3-9.
With face-to-face training not possible in recent months, Cricket Victoria has offered almost 40 virtual training sessions to its under-age emerging performance squads.
"We're really pleased with the talent we've been able to assemble for this program and the players have benefitted from the insights of a number of industry leaders - including some players who were in their position only a short time ago," coach of the female program Duncan Harrison said.
"We'll continue to train throughout the season with more face-to-face sessions scheduled as restrictions ease in preparation for the National Championships which will hopefully take place in Brisbane in April."
