Club great Nathan Thompson has stood down from the position, but will remain with the Tigers to coach the under-18s.
Thompson was going to coach the seniors and under-18s in 2020 before COVID-19 restrictions forced the cancellation of the season.
"This was always going to be a massive ask, so for season 2021 we will be appointing a new senior coach,'' Kyneton FNC president Julie Priestley said.
"Nathan will continue coaching our under 18 team and will also oversee our pre-season development program, which was a huge success last year, as well as our junior development pathways.
"We are excited about what a new coach will bring to our club. We are committed to continuing to develop our junior players, but also think a new coach will be able to improve our current senior list."
The Tigers are also on the hunt for a new coach of the club's senior women's football team.
"It was a real shame the season was cancelled this year for our women's team as they were able to recruit some new players and were training hard to be extremely competitive this year,'' Priestley said.
"We are hoping to attract a coach that will continue to develop our players and give them a fresh outlook on their game."
The Tigers have been through some financial pain in recent years, but Priestley said the club has worked hard to pay off debts close to $200,000.
"It is a huge relief to have dealt with this debt and we are now also able to launch into 2021,'' she said.

A car raffle earlier this year was a huge success for the club and the Tigers have used that raffle to launch a program that will benefit the Kyneton community.
"We have taken 10 per cent of our raffle profits and put that into a dedicated bank account and that will be distributed to charities and organisations in our community that could do with some extra funding. We are extremely excited to be able to do this.
"Our community has always been very generous and has given the club such support when we have needed it, so it's fantastic we are now in a position to be able to give back.
"Going forward, the club will put a minimum of 10 per cent of our profits into this account and continue to distribute amongst the community.
"We are extremely excited about the future of the Kyneton Football Netball Club and fingers crossed, success won't be too far away for us."
