The scene is now clear.
Leading Senior Constable Brian Smith said the incident was the result of a collision between a station wagon and a 4x4 ute.
"Just after 4pm, a car coming out of Caledonia Street has collided with a car travelling east on Weeroona Avenue," he said. "One car has major damage and the other has minor damage.
"We will do further investigations and work out exactly what happened."
Leading Senior Constable Smith said there were minor injuries.
"We had the ambulance attend but they have since been released," he said.

Emergency services are at the scene of a two-car crash on Weeroona Avenue in Bendigo.
The crash happened at the intersection with Caledonia Street just after 4pm on Friday.
Police, fire and ambulance officers attended.
Traffic is moving through the area.
