Strathfieldsaye's Jack Ginnivan, Cohuna's Josh Treacy and Robinvale's Seamus Mitchell are three of 94 players from across Australia who will attend the pre-draft testing sessions.
AFL clubs were asked to list potential draftees who they'd like to see attend the combine and, despite not getting the opportunity to play any NAB League footy this year, the Pioneers' trio made the cut.
All three players have had interest from multiple AFL clubs this year.
Ginnivan's game sense, decision making and ability to hit the scoreboard has earned high praise from AFL recruiters.
The midfielder/forward averaged 16 possessions and more than one goal per game in 12 NAB League matches for the Pioneers in 2019.
Key position player Treacy was to co-captain the Pioneers with Echuca's Jack Evans this year, but the NAB League boys' season was over before it started because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Treacy's best attributes are his contested marking and kicking ability.
Mitchell's speed and agility caught the eye of AFL clubs in his limited exposure to the NAB League in his bottom-age year with the Pioneers in 2019.
Mitchell's skill execution, particularly by foot, is also seen as a major strength.
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the AFL to split the draft combine into a state-by-state program.
While draft combine dates for South Australia, Western Australia, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania have been locked in, the schedule for the Victorian draft combine is still to be confirmed because of the state's ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
The AFL National Draft will be held in December on a date yet to be confirmed.
Three Pioneers were selected in last year's National Draft - Thomson Dow (Richmond), Brodie Kemp (Carlton) and Flynn Perez (North Melbourne), while Brady Rowles (Sydney) was picked in the rookie draft.
