David Zahra, 21, was found driving at Harcourt on February 21 this year, two weeks after his licence was suspended for three months for speeding.
He pleaded guilty on Monday to driving while suspended.

Zahra told the Bendigo Magistrates' Court that his parents had asked him to go see them, and he was embarrassed to tell them his licence had been suspended again.
He said he felt "very stupid" for doing it again.
Magistrate Patrick Southey noted Zahra was suspended after speeding in May last year, then was caught speeding again in January this year, leading to the most recent suspension.
Zahra's father said he had asked his son to come help him on the farm after he was injured.
He asked the court for leniency when it came to Zahra's licence, as it was important for him to do farm work.
Mr Southey said speeding was the root of the problems.
"Your mistakes on the road are costing you thousands of dollars," he said.
Mr Southey convicted and fined Zahra $700, plus court costs.
He refused an application to impound the vehicle, as it had already been impounded for 30 days.
"Slow down, it's that simple," Mr Southey said.
