David Hickman thought he had achieved the ultimate for a club golfer when he had a hole-in-one on the par-three third at Belvoir Park a couple of years ago.

Last Saturday at his home club Neangar Park, Hickman went one step better when he scored another hole-in-one, but this time it was for an albatross on the par-four 13th hole.
With the pin on the left-hand side of the green, Hickman played a slight draw with his driver on the uphill 253m hole.
"I normally hit a driver to try and get the ball up on the green to give myself the best chance of getting a birdie,'' Hickman said.
"I hit my shot and my playing partner Steve Becker said "geez, that looks alright, did you get it?
"I thought I hit it pretty well. We saw it land and then it popped up on the green, but from the tee you can't see where the ball stops on that green.
"The guy who was up next to the green sort of calmly said "that's gone in the hole".
"That's when we all went a bit bourko for a while and everyone on the course knew something big had happened."
Neangar Park president Phil DeAraugo said Hickman was the fifth player to achieve an albatross at the club.
However, Hickman is the only player to achieve it on a par-four, with the other players getting the job done via second shots on par-fives.
Hickman, who plays off a handicap of four, said it was a moment he'll never forget.
"I've driven the green a few times before and I've had an eagle there before, but I've never known my tee shot to go close to a hole-in-one on that hole before,'' Hickman said.
"They talk about the albatross being the most unlikely achievement in golf, so it was pretty nice to get it.
"I would have been happy just to have that hole-in-one (at Belvoir Park), but now to have this as well it has to be the best shot I've hit."
COVID-19 restrictions meant Hickman was unable to celebrate the achievement with his mates after the round.
"My mates were just ecstatic. Normally after our round we have a beer in the clubhouse and have a chat, but these days everything is closed up,'' Hickman said.
"We had a quick yarn about it and a bit of a laugh about it and then everyone went home. It was a bit weird, but it was still enjoyable."

Hickman was a member of Golden Square Cricket Club's BDCA first XI premiership team in 2008-09 before deciding to turn his attention to golf and he's been a member at Neangar Park for a decade.
Golf clubs are unable to host regular competitions at the moment because of COVID-19 restrictions.
Hickman and a group of his mates at Neangar Park play their own competition each Saturday and his albatross helped him to a fine round of two-over par 73.
It was good enough to collect the cash from his mates.
"A few of us put in five bucks each and the winner gets the kitty, so it was a nice bonus to take that home on the day,'' Hickman said.
"The bragging rights over my mates was just as good (as the albatross)."
