A BENDIGO man has been interviewed after a car crashed into a vacant building in Dingee on Sunday.
The 35-year-old was released pending inquiries into the crash, which Bridgewater's Leading Senior Constable Mick Balazs said happened about 12.30am.
The car is believed to have been the only vehicle involved. Its driver was the sole occupant.
Leading Senior Constable Balazs said the driver was not injured, but the building had sustained a moderate amount of damage.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
Leading Senior Constable Balazs said police weren't in attendance at the time and were called later in the morning.

EMERGENCY services are responding after a car crashed into a building in Dingee.
Police in Bendigo received reports a vehicle had crashed into a vacant shop.
The crash is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.
One of the town's residents said the car came to rest under the building's verandah, and the verandah roof was leaning on top of the car.
The vehicle left the road near the railway line, close to the intersection of King, Queen and Evans streets.
