BENDIGO Health has asked for patience as queues remain long at its COVID-19 testing sites, following a worker at Don KR Castlemaine testing positive.
Queues at Bendigo Health's Mercy Street testing facility stretched out of the car park when the Bendigo Advertiser visited about 1pm on Saturday.
It was the second day of long waits at the testing clinic, after "unprecedented demand" on Friday.
A Bendigo Health spokesperson asked for patience from those waiting.
They said it was a highly anxious time for everyone, and asked for kindness.
The Mercy Street's entrance has now been changed. Entrance is now through the Anne Caudle Centre.
The drive through COVID-19 testing clinic is open 7.30am-7.30pm.
