A Victoria Police spokesperson said the search for Bruce Evans is ongoing.
Mr Evans, 79, was reported missing from his Reillys Road home in Neilborough on Tuesday evening.
A State Emergency Service spokesperson said SES crews had been helping search since Tuesday evening.
The multi-agency search is ongoing with SES crews continuing to assist police.
Mr Evans' disappearance is considered out of character and his family are concerned because Mr Evans has a medical condition.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300.
WEDNESDAY
POLICE and family have concerns for 79-year-old Neilborough man Bruce Evans, who has been reported missing.
Mr Evans was last seen at his Reillys Road home about 7pm on Tuesday.
Investigators say Mr Evans's disappearance is out of character.
Police and his family are also concerned because Mr Evans has a medical condition.
Investigators are appealing for information.
Police have released an image of Mr Evans in the hope someone recognises him and can assist.
