On Saturday the under-six through to under-10 non-competitive junior boys and girls will commence their long awaited season.
Games will be held at multiple venues across the region.
Also on the field this weekend will be the BASL juniors who will be on ground for their second round after kicking off last weekend.
On Friday the state government announced changes to dates for the return of senior sport which impacts the planned late July start for BASL seniors.
With three teams officially out (Tatura, Shepparton and Shepparton South) the total number that will participate in the 2020 season remains undetermined.
