Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged two people allegedly involved in a shooting and aggravated burglary in Strathfieldsaye last night.

A 26-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, both from Eaglehawk attended at the Windle Lane address just before 6.30pm.
Police said the pair approached the front of the house and a shot was fired before they forced their way inside the home.

A couple who were inside the home at the time, were not physically injured and the man and woman fled.
Police arrested the pair this morning at a property in Eaglehawk where drugs, a firearm and ammunition were seized.
The woman has been charged with aggravated burglary and conduct endangering life.
The man has been charged with aggravated burglary, conduct endangering life, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, breach of parole and drug possession.
They are due to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates' Court today.
