The Victorian government has extended the state of emergency for a further four weeks.
It follows a surge in new cases in the state, with 44 more people detected with the virus on Friday and Saturday.
However, there have been no new cases reported in central Victoria over the weekend.
There is currently one active case, in Campaspe Shire, which was reported on Monday, June 15.
Another new case reported earlier this week, in Macedon Ranges Shire, was later revised and removed from that municipality's tally.
So far, a total of 34 people across the region have come down with the illness.
On Saturday, Premier Daniel Andrews flagged the possibility of localised restrictions in areas with high numbers of infections.
He also announced the government was delaying the easing of some restrictions, and tightening others.
This has left some businesses making last-minute plans to adapt, having prepared for more customers from Monday.

Some coronavirus restrictions are tightening and some changes have been deferred for three weeks, amid a spike in new cases in Victoria.
Victoria has recorded 25 new cases since Friday, 14 of which are linked to known outbreaks.
One of these new cases is a person in hotel quarantine and six were picked up through routine testing.
Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Saturday that gatherings in homes will be restricted to a maximum of the household plus five guests, down from the 20 people currently allowed, from 11.59pm on Sunday.
Gatherings in public spaces will be reduced to a 10-person limit.
Mr Andrews said half of all new cases since April were the result of family to family transmission.
He said people had been visiting other households despite being symptomatic or instructed to isolate.
"It is unacceptable that families anywhere in our state, just because they want this to be over, are pretending that it is," Mr Andrews said.
Any activities or facilities set to resume or open for the first time after Sunday, such as gyms, are allowed to continue as planned.
However, the expansion of the patron limit for spaces in restaurants, cafes and pubs from 20 people to 50 has been deferred until after July 12.
The same applies to other venues, such as museums and galleries.
"I think we are absolutely at risk of a second peak," Victoria's Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said.
He said the state could get on top of it, but he was nervous.
"This is a crossroads," Dr Sutton said.
"We're at a point where we have to turn it around or it gets beyond us."
