Division can never be solved by more division.
We should stand together and reject any and all language of division and violence.

In defence of Cook
Poor Captain Cook!
A master-mariner, he came to our part of the world transporting a group of astronomers to observe the transit of Venus across the sun.
After his ship called into Botany Bay for its water and wood supplies to be recharged, his landing was obstructed by two aboriginal warriors.
A light shot was fired into the leg of one, who took his weapons and left.
Cook then proceeded to engage in investigative tourism up the east coast of Australia.
On a subsequent voyage he covered much of the Pacific, and surveyed some of the west coast of the United States.
Hardly the stuff of imperialism and genocide.
He was finally clubbed and stabbed to death by the people of Hawaii.
