State Trustees helps clients with everyday finances when they don't have the capacity to do to themselves due to disability, illness or injury.
They also provide legal support and advice to ensure clients get their rightful entitlements, such as through the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Treasurer Tim Pallas said the government's investment will break down barriers and give Victorians with disability, illness or injury the financial safety net they need.
"We are making sure all Victorians, including the community's most vulnerable and the dedicated people who care for them, have the services and resources they need, when they need it."
Three new board members have been recently appointed to the State Trustees.
The new additions bring a range of skills and experiences to the board.
Suicide Prevention Australia chair Angela Emslie has experience in governance and strategy, holding director positions at Frontier Advisors and LIME Management Group.
Tony Clark has a track record of advocacy on disability, education and employment issues.
Vivienne Nguyen is an established business executive, community leader and current chair of the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
