Koop and Fitzpatrick will remain at the club as players, but increased responsibilities away from cricket mean they can longer coach the Goers.
Koop has maintained his employment with Cricket Victoria during their recent restructure as a Coaching and Talent Development Specialist.
"I'm extremely proud of what we have been able to achieve during the past four seasons under my leadership and I'm grateful for the opportunity the club has given me to expand my skills,'' Koop said.
"The committee and playing group have always provided effort and care as we navigated through some positive change.
"My key focus with support from many others was always centered around our culture, behaviours and ensuring our environment allowed players to enjoy their time at our club, develop their own cricket and importantly improve as a person.
"It's pleasing to see the club growing not only in participation and inclusion, but importantly with an enhanced status within the BDCA community.
"The development of our playing group is well positioned for a coach inside or outside the club to take ownership and move us forward.
"I'll remain as a player for the Bendigo Cricket Club, I'm looking forward to leading and mentoring without title and enjoying the many benefits of being a Bendigo Cricket Club cricketer".
Fitzpatrick's playing career was hampered in the past two summers by a knee reconstruction.
The all-rounder wants to focus on returning to the form that made him one of the most valuable players in the BDCA.
"I have been coaching both football and cricket for a couple of years now and on top of that, recovering from an ACL injury, I needed to take a step back,'' Fitzpatrick said.
"I'm looking forward to focusing on playing and assisting the club in whatever way I can without having an official role."
Bendigo CC president Andrew Gibbs lauded Koop and Fitzpatrick for their commitment to the club.
"As disappointing as it is to lose two outstanding coaches, we are extremely pleased that they will remain at the club as quality players,'' he said.
"I know that they will continue to take a leadership role within the Club, and that both are determined to take the senior team to the next level."
The Goers join Strathfieldsaye as BDCA clubs looking for a new senior coach for the 2020-21 season.
