CENTRAL Victoria has recorded another new case of COVID-19.
The latest Department of Health and Human Services data shows there is now one active case in the Central Goldfields Shire.
The last case recorded in that region was on April 2.
The new case brings the total number of active cases in central Victoria to five, after a new case was confirmed in the Gannawarra Shire on Saturday.
The latest health department information shows there are also two active cases in the Campaspe Shire and one active case in the Macedon Ranges.
The total number of confirmed cases in central Victoria sits at 35.
Of those, nine are City of Greater Bendigo residents.
There are currently no active confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Bendigo area.
