The 14-question survey aims to capture data around local issues, needs and future opportunities to provide support.
Survey responses will inform the continued development of a Relief and Recovery Plan for Greater Bendigo, which is an evolving document that is designed to adapt to meet community needs.
Mayor Margaret O'Rourke said insight into individual opinions and experiences would ensure a more targeted approach to helping the community recover.
"We need to hear from as many people as possible to understand what more can be done to get our community through this," Cr O'Rourke said.
The Greater Bendigo COVID-19 Relief and Recovery Committee has launched the survey, chaired by Cr O'Rourke.
The committee includes representatives from Bendigo Health, Victoria Police, Be.Bendigo and Bendigo Bank, among others.
"We want to know what our residents see as the greatest issues going forward and where the biggest impacts have been," Cr O'Rourke said.
The survey does not have an end date and participants can provide their views anonymously.
"It is important that we collect this data over the coming weeks and months as recovery is a marathon effort, not a sprint," Cr O'Rourke said.
