Two people used a sledgehammer to smash a glass door and entered Smartphone Specialist at about 3.20am this morning, owner Clint Francis said.
They then stole six brand new iPhones and a MacBook estimated to cost $8000 in damage.
Because of the way the thieves damaged the door it could cost as much as $8000 to replace, Mr Francis said.
He hoped his insurance company will cover the cost of the damage, but is still to get in touch with them to confirm what help they could provide.
"It (the theft) is frustrating, especially in the current environment with the coronavirus," he said.
