Tormey put the writing on the wall early by steering the progressive Grant Innes-trained gelding Vincent Kai to an impressive win, before following up with a double for her own stable with Sheer Modern and Shaq.
Her three wins came on top of a double at last Thursday's meeting at Bendigo aboard the Carla Innes-Goodridge trotter Zarem and Dylan Marshall-trained pacer Barbie Mattgregor.
A win aboard Vincent Kai gave Tormey consecutive second and first placings in her only two drives on the four-year-old gelding.
"He ran really well in my first drive on him last week and I thought he'd be hard to beat, so it was good to see him run accordingly," she said.
"(Carla and Grant) are absolutely wonderful people and the most lovely people you could drive for.
"They do a really great job with their horses. They always look immaculate.
"You know when you are driving them they have been well looked after and ready to go. It was great to get a winner for (Grant), as it was for Carla last week."
A 10th career win, from 49 starts, for Sheer Modern came after the consistent five-year-old mare put in a rare poor performance at Bendigo earlier this month.
"She put in a horrible run last start, so I didn't really know what to expect, Tormey said.
"It was on that real rainy night and they went really slow, which I don't think she likes. Then they went flat out and she loved it.
"I think she's only ever put in two average runs for me and they were both in average weather, apart from that she's done a terrific job.
"She was probably my my 'worst' hope for the night, but she got the job done."
Tormey was equally rapt to end a frustrating run of performances and placings with Shaq, who broke through for his second win from 22 starts.
"He has got a bit of ability, but can do a fair few things wrong," she said.
"(Tuesday night) I decided I was not going to take any chances and just drive him like the best horse in the race and he actually went like it for a change."
Tormey was unlucky not to end the meeting with four winners, following a narrow second on the fast-finishing and in-form Zarem, who was beaten by less than two lengths by the Kate Hargreaves-trained Well Defined.
"He went super. It's been a bit of work teaching him to hit the line, he probably had a bit of trouble with that early on," she said.
"He's got a lot of speed, just his manners can be a little funny some times.
"Carla has done a magnificent job with him."
A treble for Tormey boosted her tally over three nights of regional racing to six wins, two behind Alex Ashwood in an intriguing battle at the top of the standings.
