It means the city's events calendar will be fully booked if coronavirus lockdown restrictions are relaxed.
Major events in the October time frame include White Night, the Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival, the Bendigo Swap Meet and the Bendigo Show.
"We are working closely with Colin Thompson at Blues and Roots," tourism and major events manager Terry Karamaloudis said. "This year is the 10th blues and roots festival, so it will be a fantastic celebration of an amazing event. We have confirmed support for the event and are acting as if it is going to proceed.
"For White Night, we have had discussions with the state government about that and are proceeding with planning to deliver that on October 10."

Mr Karamaloudis said his unit were continuing to work with event owners and operators.
"We don't know when (the state government) is going to push the start button," he said. "We've never before had more time to be contacting and negotiating with groups for Bendigo.
"In terms of event acquisition, that hasn't slowed down, it's gotten busier because we have more time to dedicate to it. We've uncovered new opportunities in sporting disciplines.
"So whoever gives us the go ahead to start again, we're very confident we're going to have a busy events sector."
Mr Karamaloudis said the major challenge for the major events team would be fitting so many events alongside each other.
"The only challenge would be getting good date separation between events," he said. "There is a backlog developing, which is positive, but there might be an occasion where we can't separate events."
Mr Karamaloudis said the investment in Bendigo's infrastructure has made the region attractive for event organistions.
"We have Bendigo Stadium, the tennis centre, the QEO, we have multiple pools and the hockey facility nearing completion," he said. "It is outstanding infrastructure and a lot of regional cities don't have that.
"I feel very confident with what the future can bring by way of events when the recovery starts."
