Authorities ordered the closure of nonessential services like pubs, restaurants, gyms, and swimming pools to limit the spread of coronavirus.
Mayor Adrian Weston said the Echuca Paddlesteamers, Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre, and Echuca, Tongala and Kyabram Stadiums will close.
The shire's customer service centres would stay open, Cr Weston said, but residents have been encouraged to go to the council's website for any payments or enquiries.
"We recognise the rapidly changing situation and closure of services will be continually reviewed in line with government guidelines," Cr Weston said.
"We understand this is a difficult time and we will keep our facilities and services open for as long as we can while ensuring the safety of our staff."
Cr Weston said the council would keep the community up to date via the council's website and through social media.
