More council services in Bendigo will close in response to the coronavirus pandemic with City of Greater Bendigo customer services centres in Heathcote and Bendigo to close until further notice as of 5pm on Friday.

The Bendigo Art Gallery and visitor centres in Heathcote and Bendigo will also close.
Council staff will continue to provide support to customers online and over the phone.

Adjustments to immunisation services and livestock exchange sales have also been made.
All immunisation sessions have been moved to Strathdale Community Centre for the foreseeable future.
Council said the centre was chosen due to its large capacity, available car parking and ability to support social distancing measures. It will also allow council to apply all its efforts to maintaining the necessary hygienic practices in one centre only.
Bendigo Livestock Exchange's Monday sales will continue for as long as possible with only critical staff and industry representatives in attendance.
It is hopes allowing the continued sale of animals will support the fresh food industry.
Reviews of other services such as early-learning centres and swimming pools are continuing and will be guided by health advice.
