''Awesome," he said.
Mr Aram, 22, took up the sport when he was seven years old.
‘‘It was the event I beat everyone at when I was a kid so I just stuck with it." After coming to Bendigo from Melbourne, where he had to queue with other jumpers to train, Mr Aram said he appreciated the privacy of the local training facilities.
He found Bendigo very relaxed and said the buildings were ‘‘quite cool".
He plans to explore the town in more detail in his last few days here.
Even after coming from a chilly Scottish winter, Mr Aram has coped well with the local heat.
‘‘You can just hang about, go in the shade, and you're not going to get injured because your muscles are nice and warm," he said. ‘‘But it's quite an experience and if it's that hot in Melbourne, I'm ready for it because I've had it really hot here.
‘‘And if it's raining, I've had it here, so it's all good."So would Mr Aram like to come back to Bendigo if he visited Australia again?Once again, he doesn't hesitate. ‘‘Yeah I would, I like it here."
