QANTAS has made no changes to its Bendigo-Sydney air service despite cuts to international and domestic services. But a Qantas spokesperson said it was monitoring all routes closely across the network. The airline cut its international flights by nearly a quarter over the next six months as coronavirus drove a drop in demand for future travel. The airline said this was in line with broader economic conditions. Qantas runs 10 return services weekly between Sydney and Bendigo. Flights were introduced on the route in April. Qantas has said distruption to Australian domestic passengers is likely to be minimal given continued high frequency on most routes. Qantas and Jetstar will waive change fees for new international bookings made from March 10 until the end of March. This applies to travel beginning up to June 30, and is limited to one free change per customer. Customers will need to pay any fare difference.
