Cowling will again take charge of the open team after leading the BFNL to an inter-league win over Outer East last season, while Donnellon takes over the reins of the 17-and-under team from Melinda Keighran.
The BFNL will play the Ballarat Football Netball League on May 2 before targeting title success at the Netball Victoria Association Championships in May and June.
As with recent football appointments, BFNL manager Cameron Tomlins said consistency and stability remained a key theme for the 2020 campaign.
"We are thrilled to have two fantastic individuals in Jayden and Nicole mentoring our representative netball sides for 2020," he said.
"Much like the football coaching announcements, it is fantastic to have coaches that have been part of the BFNL representative program recommitting to build on the platforms for success set in recent years.
"Both Jayden and Nicole are highly respected and well-credentialed coaches who both possess the skillset necessary to lead our netball teams to 2020 success.
"The BFNL holds representative netball in high regard and is excited about the expertise and enthusiasm both coaches bring to the table."
"We are confident that the BFNL will once again have a successful netball representative season, built on the development, structure and guidance offered by both Jayden and Nicole."

Cowling, who is entering his third season as coach of Kangaroo Flat and led the Roos to a grand final appearance in 2019, has been associated with the BFNL representative program for several seasons.
A multiple Australian and Victorian men's netball representative, Cowling was an assistant coach of the open team in 2017 and '18 under Sandhurst triple premiership coach Tamara Gilchrist before taking on the head coaching role last season.
The open team's lone match last season resulted in a 55-40 victory against an accomplished Outer East.
The 17-and-under team will have a fresh face in charge, with last year's assistant Donnellon replacing Keighran, who led the BFNL to a semi-final appearance at the Association Championships and a 27-goal inter-league triumph over Outer East.
Donnellon has filled several coaching roles in recent seasons, including mentoring AFL Central Victoria Academy teams in 2016, '17, '18, '19 and '20, and as the 17-and-under assistant coach for North Central at last year's State Titles.
She has also previously coached Loddon Valley league representative teams.
