SES crews are working to attend almost a dozen jobs in the Kennington, Strathdale and Strathfieldsaye areas.
Bendigo unit deputy controller Natalie Stanway said most of the jobs were related to trees falling down or building damage being caused.
"We want to make people aware that crews are in the area and if they are working, to give them the space they need," she said.
"Most of the jobs are tree related (but) we have had at least two trampolines ended up somewhere else.
"Some trees have been blocking roads and we are clearing those as a priority. We don't want people having crashes."
Ms Stanway said it will take time for crews to attended each job, especially in the hot weather.
"We will do our best but if there is a safe way of people attending them themselves, then we encourage people to do that, whether it is something like talking to your insurer and getting a contractor," he said.
"But we are working through the requests as best we can. Business hours is our most difficult time and with heat we won't have people on hot roofs for extended periods of time."
