THREE people have been taken to hospital by road ambulance after a multi-vehicle crash in Tooborac.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a woman in her 50s was going to be airlifted to hospital, but the air ambulance was no longer required.
The woman was taken to The Royal Melbourne Hospital by road ambulance in a serious condition.
She had upper and lower body injuries.
A man in his 50s was also taken to The Northern Hospital in a serious condition.
A teenage girl was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital for minor injuries. She is in a stable condition.

ONE woman has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition following a car crash in Tooborac.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the woman, believed to be aged in her 50s, had upper body injuries.
A teenage girl was also taken to the Royal Children's Hospital by road ambulance for minor injuries. She is in a stable condition.

EMERGENCY services are responding to a multi-vehicle crash in Tooborac.
Four Country Fire Authority crews, paramedics, and police were called to the crash on the Northern Highway, near the Seymour turnoff, about 5.24pm on Tuesday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were treating three patients at the scene.
One of the patients was trapped in a vehicle, the spokesperson said.
A CFA spokesperson said the road was blocked by the crash.
