A TOTAL fire ban has been declared across central Victoria on Wednesday as the weather warms.
Total fire bans have been declared for six out of nine districts, including the Northern Country, the North Central District and the Mallee.

Severe fire danger is predicted for the Northern County and North Central districts. Extreme fire danger is forecast for the Mallee.
Bendigo is set to reach a high of 33 degrees, with windy conditions and a chance of showers in the afternoon.
