The Zonta Club of Bendigo will present three awards at its annual International Women's Day dinner on March 3.
They include the Women of Achievement Award, recognising women who have "demonstrated an outstanding commitment to their community".
Previous recipients include Margaret Singe and Julie Oberin, two of the region's strongest advocates for ending violence against women. Nominations close on February 14.

Applications are also open for the club's Ann Horrocks STEM scholarship, awarded to a female year 12 graduate enrolling in studies in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

The Young Women in Public Affairs Award is open to applicants between the ages of 16 - 19, who are engaged in studies. Applications close on February 7.
