A Maryborough man has been charged with affray following a reported fight at a house where a man suffered a fatal injury just two days prior.
The 28-year-old was charged along with three others - a man and two women - after an incident at a Mooroolbark address on December 27.
Two days before, on Christmas night, a 50-year-old Mooroolbark man was hit in the head at the same address in another fight and died in hospital.
A 59-year-old Mooroolbark woman suffered minor injuries in the same incident.
Investigators have been told up to eight people were involved in the fight, which occurred about 11pm.

No one has been charged in relation to the man's death or this reported altercation.
But Homicide Squad detectives, with the help of the SES, are today conducting a line search in the area, searching in particular for any weapons or items that might have been used in this fight.
Any neighbouring residents who have seen or found any weapons that might have been used are asked to contact police.
The four people charged over the second incident were bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates' Court on May 25.
