Thousands of people are expected to fill Rosalind Park on New Year's Eve for Bendigo's annual fireworks display.
City of Greater Bendigo has planned two fireworks displays for the evening - a family display at 9.15pm followed by the midnight display.
"The family display runs for about five minutes and the tradition midnight ones are a 10 minute display," acting manager of tourism and major events Jemma Docherty said.
"Out the front of the soldiers museum and the piazza near the Christmas tree are popular spots (to see the fireworks from)."
Ms Docherty said weather was expected to be favourable for the fireworks.
Only a total fire ban would result in the displays being cancelled.
"It's always part of the consideration but obviously the weather forecast at this point in time is that we're getting a cool change (Monday) afternoon, so should be a good day tomorrow for fireworks," she said.
Tuesday's forecast in Bendigo is for a top of 28 degrees with clouds clearing.
