A CLASH of the competition's two in-form teams, Kangaroo Flat and South Bendigo, rounds out the first stage of the BBD weekend pennant on Saturday.
The Flat have rocketed into premiership discussion off the back of a stellar four games following the round three washout.
Since the washout the Flat have peeled off four consecutive wins, including its past two against last season's grand finalists Eaglehawk (4 shots) and Bendigo East (16).
Barry Anset's rink is undefeated through the four wins by the Flat and has been dominating its opposition with victories by 13, 13, 12 and 13 shots.
Anset heads into the round as the BBD's leading skipper, while making a move in recent weeks has been South Bendigo's Mitch Sidebottom.
Sidebottom's rink is also in ripping form with three wins in a row by 27, 12 and 14 shots.
South Bendigo sits in second position on the ladder having won its past three games in convincing style by a combined 78 shots.
As well as the big clash at Kangaroo Flat, there will also be plenty of focus on Eaglehawk as its strives to end a three-game losing streak at Golden Square before the mid-season break.
