COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
WEEKEND BOOGIE
Head along to a local hall and enjoy great music by Family Rhythm Dance Band.
Dance the night away with a good program and delicious home cooked supper.
The event also features a raffle and prizes.
Admission $9. Everyone welcome.

PARKRUN
Enjoy a non-competitive race against other runners at the Bendigo Parkrun.
This is a race against yourself and a chance for you to time yourself in a run, jog or walk of 5km.

STORYTIME
Join host, Lucky, on a storytime adventure this week.
There will be stories filled with wonderful characters and messages to help children develop language and listening skills.
Songs and dancing are also performed.
Children (including babies) of all ages are welcome. Breast (and bottle) feeding friendly space.
Where: Squishy Minnie Bookstore, 6 High Street, Kyneton.
When: Thursday, December 19, 10.30am to 11am.
HULA HOOPING FUN
Hosted by the Coeurageous Community and to celebrate the completion of 'Tap Into Your Heart Flow' (a course for women to connect through hoop dance), there will be fun and fitness in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens.
Learn the art of Hula Hooping with basic techniques, designed to be fitness based but to get you grooving.
There will be some great music and is suitable for the whole family and all levels of hoopers. Note, the event is catered towards adults but children are welcome to play.
Please wear something comfortable and bring lots of water.
Hoops are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
Donation based event with suggestion of $5 - $10.
Where: Castlemaine Botanical Gardens, Downes Road, Castlemaine.
When: Tuesday, December 17, 7pm to 8pm.
PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITIONS
WONDERLAND
This exhibition will appeal to both adults and children, showcasing a playful atmosphere in a gallery space, with works from local artists.
The exhibition features Bendigo LEGO User Group's iconic landmarks from our region, jewellery, textile animals, needle felting, ceramics, pop art paintings and much more.
