CIRCUS SHOW
Enjoy a family fun day out with the Castlemaine Circus Show.

Hosted by Castlemaine Circus, there will be parkour and circus trainers performing in this end of year celebration.
Music will be live and played by the Kyneton Street band.
The event will also include fairy floss to snack on, all naturally flavoured.
This performance will be donation entry. Please give as much as you can afford.

16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM
The Central Goldfields Shire is hosting a variety of events for the 2019 16 Days of Activism program.
The events started on Monday, with a special official launch in Maryborough.
The theme for this year's program is Respect Women/ Call it Out.
The theme aims to develop a positive message around respectful relationships and gender equality.
Some of the events include: The Zonta Club's flowerbed launch, a women's circle, story-time for children, using creativity and voice, and a community vigil.

OPEN GARDENS
Open Gardens Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation, continuing the long tradition of opening private gardens throughout Victoria following the closure of Open Gardens Australia.

This weekend, two Macedon gardens are open for all the plant lovers.
There will be Stephen Ryan's Tugurium and the Caelum garden.
Tugurium is Stephen Ryan's home garden which is full of rare and unusual plants to discover.
Stephen will showcase his acanthus, elderflowers (Sambucus) and angels trumpets (Brugmansia) which can be enjoyed alongside a coffee.
There will also be Craig Lidgerwood's artworks and rare plants for sale.

Caelum is a garden with many hidden corners to explore.
It features a collection of rare maples, an ornamental fish pond, caged vegetable garden and paths that are surrounded by colourful mature trees.
This open garden will also include music, from 1pm and rare plants for sale.

Entry into the gardens is adults $8, students $5, under 18 free.

YOUNG ARTIST COME AND TRY
Does your child enjoy art? Are they wanting to try something new?
Head along to this young artists free session and see if your child is the next Picasso.
Teacher Toby will guide children through painting, sculpture, drawing and other media.
This event is suitable for children aged eight to 12 years.

WONDERLAND
This exhibition will appeal to both adults and children, showcasing a playful atmosphere in a gallery space, with works from local artists.
The exhibition features Bendigo LEGO User Group's iconic landmarks from our region, jewellery, textile animals, needle felting, ceramics, pop art paintings and much more.

ARTISTS GARDEN
The Possum Gully Gallery invites all to an exhibition of work that reflects artists' visions of their gardens.
Fruit, flowers, trees, insects and the animals that inhabit their garden will be depicted in painting, drawing, sculpture and ceramics.

BAGUNGGA
Kyneton Museum is excited to present Bagungga (meaning 'to gather or collect'), an exhibition of contemporary Aboriginal art and crafts.

Items in this exhibition have been collected during owners' visits to Aboriginal communities throughout Australia.
This is the first time this private collection has been on public display.
$5 adult, $3 concession and children under five free, $10 family, $2.50 school group (with activities).
