A bogey-free final round of 67 lifted Bendigo golfer Andrew Martin inside the top-10 at the $400,000 NSW Open in Sydney.
Martin fired five birdies in his first 12 holes on Sunday on his way to a 67 and 11-under par for the tournament.
He finished in a tie for seventh, six shots behind the winner Josh Younger, who is one of Martin's close friends.
Martin was left to lament an even-par 72 on day two. His other three rounds were 69, 69 and 67.
The highlight of Martin's week was a hole-in-one on the par-three second hole in Thursday's opening round.
The tie for seventh place lifted Martin to 17th place on the Australian PGA Tour order of merit with the two events remaining - next week's Australian Open in Sydney and the Australian PGA Championship on the Gold Coast from December 19-22.
