A taxi driver has pleaded guilty to careless driving after running up the back of a stationary vehicle.
The driver, aged in his 20s, was driving a taxi on Olympic Parade on the morning of July 10 this year when he approached a vehicle stopped, waiting to turn, at the intersection with Spencer Street.
But footage from inside the taxi shows the driver became distracted and looked out the window.
This caused him to run into the back of the vehicle stopped at the intersection, at a speed of 60 km/h.
Both drivers were taken to Bendigo Health following the crash.
Bendigo Magistrates' Court heard the taxi driver had no prior convictions.

The man told the court he had a lot on his mind and was working long hours at the time of the crash, but there was no excuse for what had occurred.
Magistrate Michael King said drivers needed to give their full attention to the road, telling the man he was lucky he did not seriously injure or even kill someone.
Dr King told the man an offence like careless driving could put his licence at risk, which would affect his livelihood.
But the magistrate decided he would not interfere with the man's licence, instead fining him $600 with costs, without conviction.
