Telstra has been conducting major network upgrades in the region for the past several months, with work already completed around Bendigo East and Epsom.
More improvement works will start in Kangaroo Flat and Ironbark from Thursday. The works, which will include power and other telecommunications works, will continue in stages for about 10 days.
"We're getting on with some important planned upgrade work at our mobile sites around Bendigo," Telstra regional general manager Steve Tinker said.
"While we've carefully planned this upgrade work in stages to minimise disruption there may be some impacts to mobile services.

Mr Tinker said there would be overlapping coverage from a number of towers across Bendigo, which would continue to provide some mobile phone service to Telstra customers.
But he has warned some customers could notice an impact to services during that 10-day period.
"We know there's never a perfect time to schedule upgrade work," Mr Tinker said. "We apologise for the interruption but once we're finished it'll mean better mobile services for our customers."
Telstra will be issuing text messages to customers based on the tower their phone is connected to. The messages will start being sent out later this week.
Several businesses around Powells Avenue and Piper Lane had mobile phone reception and internet issues for several days.
At least 50 per cent of in-house guests at Bendigo's All Seasons Resort Hotel also complained about poor mobile reception.
Telstra apologised for the inconvenience at the time and noted scheduled upgrade works at one of its mobile sites in East Bendigo as the cause of the disruptions.
Telstra sent a general notification to Bendigo customers about the planned work, but some customers received the message days after the works were scheduled to be completed.
