A MAN has been charged following a string of burglaries, thefts and driving offences in the Bendigo region as well as northern Victoria.

Police allege the 29-year-old man, of no fixed place of address, was responsible for burglaries and thefts from sporting clubs in Strathdale and Mooroopna, a business in Flora Hill, a service station in Quarry Hill, a post office in Marong and residential addresses in Longlea and Elmore.
He has also been charged in relation to thefts of motor vehicles in Mooroopna, Elmore and Echuca and petrol thefts in Axedale and Rochester.
Charges also relate to a burglary in Nanneella, aggravated burglary in Gigarre and criminal damage in Echuca.
He will also answer charges related to bail and driving-related offences.
The 29-year-old presented himself to Echuca Police Station on Monday night after uniform and highway patrol officers, with assistance from the dog squad and air wing, attempted to intercept a vehicle yesterday after it was seen driving erratically around Echuca and the surrounding area.
The man has been remanded to re-appear at Echuca Magistrates' Court on November 19.
